Who we are looking for

ICF coaches in the UAE who combine credentials with credibility

Our clients range from start-up founders to senior executives at multinational organisations and government-related entities. We look for coaches who can meet them where they are — with professionalism, empathy and challenge.

Credentials

An ICF credential or an equivalent accredited qualification. For reference, ICF requires at least 100 coaching hours for ACC, 500 for PCC and 2,500 for MCC.

  • ACC welcome for individual and early-career coaching
  • PCC or MCC preferred for executive coaching
  • Team coaching or psychometric accreditations a plus

Experience

A track record of paid coaching and, for corporate work, experience of organisational life at the level you coach.

  • Sector depth, e.g. financial services, tech, energy, healthcare
  • Experience with multicultural Gulf teams

Languages & practice

Coaching in the client's first language builds trust faster. We have particular demand for Arabic-speaking coaches.

How matching works

The right coach for each client, not the next coach in the queue

Clients choose their coach. Our job is to put two or three genuinely suitable people in front of them — which is why your profile matters.

For corporate programmes, the sponsor briefs us on context and objectives. For individuals, we learn what they want to work on. We then shortlist coaches and set up short chemistry calls, and the client decides. You are never pushed into an engagement that does not fit your practice.

What we match on

  • Level and context — C-suite, middle manager, graduate or individual client
  • Sector experience — for example banking in DIFC, family businesses or government-related entities
  • Specialism — executive, team, career transition, communication or wellbeing-adjacent coaching
  • Language — English, Arabic and other languages the client prefers
  • Location and format — in person in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, or online
  • Availability — capacity for the programme's rhythm and duration

Working as a freelance coach in Dubai: licences

Practising coaches in the UAE need an appropriate legal basis for their work — such as a trade or professional licence, or a freelance permit or licence. The UAE Government portal explains how the freelance work permit allows individuals to work independently without an employer sponsor. Free zones and emirate economic departments offer their own licence options.

The right route depends on your visa and circumstances, so take advice from the issuing authority. Coaches based outside the UAE and working online should follow the rules where they live.

We welcome professional coaches who hold, or are actively working towards, an International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential — ACC, PCC or MCC — or an equivalent accredited qualification. Corporate, leadership or specialist sector experience is a strong advantage, particularly for executive and team coaching in the UAE and GCC. Arabic-speaking coaches are especially welcome.

Not necessarily. Many engagements are delivered online, so we partner with coaches across the UAE, the wider GCC and internationally. Coaches based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah are well placed for in-person corporate programmes and workshops, which some clients prefer for senior leaders and team sessions.

If you coach from within the UAE, you need the right legal basis to do so — for example employment with a licensed company, a trade or professional licence, or a freelance permit or licence. The right route depends on your visa and where you operate, so check the official guidance on u.ae or with the relevant free zone or economic department. We ask to see your licence during onboarding.

You remain an independent coach and set your own professional rates for individual clients. NamasteAi generates and qualifies leads, manages client relationships on larger corporate programmes and handles the administration. In return, we charge a transparent platform service fee. Full terms are shared in writing during onboarding, before you accept any work.

We generate demand through direct outreach to HR and business leaders, through our existing relationships with UAE organisations as a recruitment and HR partner, and through targeted digital marketing for individual coaching. Each opportunity is then matched to coaches whose expertise, languages and availability fit.

All network coaches commit to the ICF Code of Ethics, including confidentiality, clear contracting, managing conflicts of interest and knowing when to refer a client to another professional, such as a licensed therapist. We also ask coaches to take part in regular supervision or continuing professional development.

Our coaching team reviews your application and credentials, then invites shortlisted coaches to an introductory conversation. This is followed by a short practice session or case discussion, reference checks and onboarding onto the platform. We aim to respond to every application within five business days.
